Cons Gossipy work environment. Would you recommend working at your company? Help people considering your employer make a good choice. Management Team and Directors or Senior Management Team needs to set the example of what they're preaching. Do less finger pointing, playing high school politics, open communication and coming through with some of the promises to resolved things rather than sweeping it under the mat or using a band-aid to cover it up.
Following through with expectations and holding accountability!!! Pros My 1 hr lunch away from work. Cons No breaks, staff coverages. A typical day is walking in and being micromanaged and degraded by your supervisor. Constantly told your work is not good enough, micromanaged at every level by someone who has less qualifications as you example does not hold a bachelors degree or an associates One therapist is expected to do the job of 4 therapists.
Management will expect you to work beyond your capabilities by piling more work on you despite you already drowning. For a Mental health clinic they do NOT take mental health seriously for their employees. If you call off sick or attempt to take time off management will make you feel guilty and shame you. Hardest part of this job is poor management. Enjoyable part of this job is your coworkers and that's if you're lucky! Pros Beautiful office with large windows!
Cons micromanaged, under appreciated, overworked, understaffed, Zero autonomy. Yes There are 3 helpful reviews 3 No. I worked for this company as part of the leadership team for just under a year. Some of the challenges I saw stem from people being placed into roles that they are not qualified to be in and without the proper training. This has a negative impact on those they oversee or simple on the role they perform.
That along with non-competitive wages has caused for people to leave, causing a high turn over rate. For this company of 50 years to succeed they really need to change their culture of being so desperate for staff that they hire and promote the unqualified. They need to raise their pay to be more competitive with "like" FQHC's in the valley. Last, they need to train their management team on how to lead, conflict resolution, and have empathy for staff.
CSV has placed too much emphasis on the "production system" and its implementation, but they lack a solid foundation which is casing it to be seen as a joke.
On another note, the HR department is the worst I have seen and does not allow the "firing" of staff who have demonstrated to be more of a liability.
When it comes to patient access to care, the providers are overworked. CSV gives directives to managers today and wants results yesterday, while providing confusing and unclear instructions.
Pros The staff that work hard. Cons Unqualified leadership team and the HR department. Yes There are 6 helpful reviews 6 No. Don't do it. One positive, Great coworkers. Much strife in Management. Not valued as an employee. Conflict in the upper management sections.
Hiring people that don't have skills in the upper levels and C-Levels. Severe lack of planning and foresight. Run as fast as you can! Pros Great Co-workers. Cons Management.
