I tried that from to and it wouldn't allow me to. I downloaded this from an earlier post and everyone was saying that I was dumb for downloading since no crack, and they were all saying it was still just a RC. Proved them wrong, and by the way, runs great. Can't wait for a Service Pack? Can anyone confirm that this works? As for crack, well, there isn't a proper one yet. Just rearm 3 times and you can get days. By then. I heard it was a p, and all i need is a patch for p.

Sorry im such a noob! I think im going to wait for the MSDN leaked RTM version with matching official checksum's, I really can't be bothered to install Win7 to have to then do an update because people were wrong. Beta stage code was already finalized when they released the RC to Public. BTW, People who keep spurting "i will wait for SP1" and keep thinking "oh there must be heaps of bugs….

I've been using a Beta copy build. Even at build , the awesome stability, I reckon if Microsoft wanted to, they can release it back then and even get away with it. Since its more stable than Vista even at such a early stage. Any build after had their kernel revamped and optimized for speed. Pre builds were still using the Vista Kernel since it was just a "proof of concept" build to show off some features that will be implemented in Windows 7.

Windows 7 has already been proved by many techos and benchmarkers online that it is infact faster than Vista, and most tests match the speed of XP or EVEN better than XP. I can testify since i started using W7 x64 i had almost 0 issues. The only thing that gave me problems was the video driver and that was because i was too stuborn trying to install a modded one.

It's been a fun ride so far, performance is way higher than Vista and i would dare to say better than XP. In fact, games i tried to play unsuccesfully on XP worked with higher framerate on W7 using same set of video drivers.

Windows 7 is like other Windows OS, slower and want more hardware dont want'it. If you rule out games we don't need Windows for any other home stuff. Folks, instead of second guessing MS's release management process, why not just wait for the Windows Team to make the official announcement and then download a genuine leaked copy. Every huge software project will have a lot of bugs in the beginning. For example WindowsXP still needs to be fixed nowadays it is 9 years in development now!

As long as testing is limited to few you will find the obvious bugs but those hidden ones will survive. Remember the worm that shut down like millions of XP Systems? Infact, if you're all so worried about security… why are you even running windoze?

They are doing this to try and keep this off the net until they can get this in the stores for the October sales. Until then the final version is going through some last minute tweaks and then will be placed under lock and key until it is to be released.

Don't you think for one second that MS already knows about these and since they know about these have already made a correction to stop these from being used? So personally I dont see what the big fuss is as you are NOT going to get a final version till after the first week in September. So stop acting like n00bs! Did you bother to check your so-called source for that blog? So since you are that ignorant, here it is directly from Microsoft themselves!

As forewarned, if you are among the millions who downloaded the Windows 7 beta and you haven't since upgrade to the Windows 7 Release Candidate RC , you are about to experience unpleasant service interruptions. In lieu of an October 22 release, and a wrap-up for the RC phase, Microsoft began the end of life process for the beta release today. Starting today users running the beta version of the OS will have their system shut down every two hours. Microsoft is urging users who stuck with the beta to jump to the release candidate, which includes a number of additional features and refinements.

The RC download program ends August Microsoft's Windows 7 is currently in its second week of the pre-order program, which is nearing its end. The pre-order program will end on Saturday, July For EU customers, the pre-orders are especially sweet as they allow Europeans to snag the OS at its cheapest full-retail prices.

In the European Union Microsoft will not be offering an upgrade SKU, but will be offering full retail versions at the same price as the upgrade versions in America. The international pre-order program runs from July 15 to August Windows XP is dead, junk and obsolete and is a major stopping factor for Microsoft to really transform the PC to a modern 21st century personal computer.
